From the New Yorker today.

Helen Killeen Bauch McHargue: I'm a retired food professional living on an avocado grove in Fallbrook, California with my husband and cats. Through my consulting business, Food Smarts, I've worked for restaurant chains, food manufacturers and commodity boards. I've always liked to write (who doesn't) and enjoy scribbling now and then.
