More Dubai

The temperature dipped under 100 today - a cool down compared to yesterday's 102. We took a cab to the Dubai Mall. Our driver, a Pakistani declared "There are two seasons in Dubai - Hot and Hotter." Chuckle, chuckle. After six years driving around in that terrible traffic, the man still has a sense of humor. Three days of it are enough for us - perfect for jet lag adjustment but it would drive me batty in the long run. 

There's still plenty of construction around the city.

There was a huge shoe sale. $1500 shoes going for a mere $1350.
