Most of the men in my family spent a fair amount of time in uniform; I have a surfeit of uniform photos. In the kissing department however, my family really falls flat. I couldn't find a single photo that remotely matched the prompt. Luckily, I did remember this delightful photo of my dear friend Zouzou kissing a llama, which I think is a qualifier.

Just in case no Sepian uses this image below, I have to add it as it's one of my favorites. Actually, a statue called "Unconditional Surrender" by Seward Johnson, it's based on the famous photo by Alfred Eisenstaedt, "V-J day in Times Square" and located on the Greatest Generation walk on the downtown San Diego waterfront.
Grab your hat and visit Sepia Saturday for more spectacular kisses.
Your lovely llama kiss photo gave me an idea for my blog. I didn't think llamas were all that friendly!
ReplyDeleteI think your llama photo qualifies -- certainly a hairy instigator, certainly a woman recipient!
ReplyDeleteI took my 3 year old son to a petting zoo once. He had a great time petting all the little goats & lambs running around, but a llama came up behind me & took a big chomp out of my basket purse which was a bit of a bummer!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and you must win the prize for the most exotic recipient of a kiss!
ReplyDeleteHa, great picture of Zouzou and Llama :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, they made the most out of that rainy day.
DeleteCouldn't be better!
ReplyDeleteI love that "kissing statue" in San Diego. I've taken a lot of pictures of it. Some of my favorites are couples having their pictures taken while kissing in front of the statue.

I haven't seen the new one yet. Another field trip someday.
DeleteZouzou is a braver person than I am. It is a nice photo and the background is beautiful. Do you know where they are?
ReplyDeleteI love the llama photo! And Zouzou is lucky to have a kiss and not some other llama specialty, spitting.
ReplyDeleteGreat success at the kissing and even a vintage photo of a crowd!
ReplyDeleteSo brave of Zouzou! I like the idea that you have added a crowd separately. You certainly ticked all the boxes.
ReplyDeleteJust love that statue! I had not heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteGreat matching to the prompt!
